For employers
Photo guidelines
- Photos must show the actual workplace. Not stock images, not AI-generated images, not photos of somewhere else. Candidates are deciding whether to apply based on what they see.
- Photos must be current. If the premises have changed substantially, update or remove them.
- If anyone is identifiable in a photo, you must have their permission to publish it. You confirm this when you upload. This includes staff, customers, and anyone passing through.
- Avoid photos that include children. If a child is identifiable, you must have a parent or guardian's permission.
- No photos containing: nudity or sexual content, violence or its aftermath, illegal activity, discriminatory or hateful imagery, or anything that would be inappropriate for a general audience.
- No personal data visible in shot: customer records, screens showing personal information, documents, name badges of people who have not consented.
- No third-party branding you do not have the right to display.
- No photos intended to mislead about pay, conditions, or the nature of the work.
- DEALT may remove any photo that breaches these guidelines. You will be told when a photo is removed and why.
- If a photo is reported, we review it within 24 hours. Photos reported by more than one person are hidden automatically while we review.
